Any modifications will be billed hourly at our published rate.
SUBMITTAL SPECIFICATIONS Files
-A printed directory showing all documents saved on the disk including fonts and placed images
-Any documents included on the disk that are not being used for the present job should be in a separate file labeled "NO NOT USE."
-Any image requested to be printed should be accompanied by a "Hard Copy," in color if possible. This allows us to:
1) Check the printed graphic to insure that the files printed are correct, and
2) Allows us to troubleshoot without accessing the disk electronically.
-All files should be set up with bleed and crop marks. Always include the final visual area in the file. This will insure that all hard copies will be dimensioned correctly.
*.EPS file does not include placed images or font information. Those separate files will still need to be provided on the disk. SEND FILES IN VECTOR FORMAT WHEN EVER POSSIBLE (i.e. *.EPS, *.AI, *.CDR, *.DXF, *.DWG).
-Files need to be set up at least 1/4 of final size. Print ready files produced smaller than 1/4 final size will need to be manipulated for final printing at an additional cost.
Color Matching
-Please indicate if there are particular colors that are important to match.
-If there are, specify PMS colors, include a chip of each color for us to match. Your computer monitor is NOT an accurate indicator of color and should not be used for color decisions.
-Colors in digital photography do not reproduce well. If you need to match a specific PMS color, we will need the PMS number. If you don’t have a PMS number we can color match using different pallets as a color reference to allow us to pick colors that reproduce closest to the desired color. This matching process is billed in addition to the printing costs. If you decide not to take this extra step we cannot be held responsible for a poor color match.
Type Face(s)
-Unless all your type has been created as outlines, you will need to provide us with all printer and screen fonts that are used in your document, even standard fonts. It is important to double-check that you have used the typefaces that you intended to use.
Scans
-Scans on print ready disk need to have a resolution of 100dpi or higher at final output size (i.e. 200dpi at half size 400dpi at quarter size etc.)
-On a photo ready disk you need to have a resolution of at least 200 or higher at final output size or 400 at half size 800 at quarter size . . .
-Provided scans should be saved as RGB Images with LZW compression. Do not use JPEG compression. It throws away color information and causes images to have more contrast.
-Please proof your designs. Although we make an effort to check provided information as a courtesy, we cannot be held responsible for typos or other graphic errors supplied on disk. -If you have any special instructions, please include them in your package. -Please include the designer's name and where they can be contacted.
